The safety of our client is paramount and for that reason, we strictly adhere to a safe colour policy. We insist that all clients receive an allergy test min of 48hrs prior to their first colour service. We will not perform any colour service to under 16's except when we obtain written consent by a parent / guardian with the completion of our under 16’s colour form as provided by our insurance company. You will be asked to show ID if you look younger than 16 years of age.

All our colour services will need to be booked with a blowdry or cut and blowdry to enable us to check the colour has taken correctly and to guarantee the results. We do not offer colour services on an application only basis as a member of staff is required to remove the colour once it has processed which is included in the blowdry or finish price, not the application price. We can offer a straight, wavey or curly finish. If your hair is naturally curly we advise a smooth finish with the addition of curls, blow wave or a diffuse dry can become frizzy if we dry off to see the colour as this is better left damp and not over-dried.

If you choose to leave with your hair wet you will be still charged the full price of the blowdry or cut and finish and your colour will not be guaranteed if once dry it is not how you like it.

Cancellation Policy & Booking Fees

Cancellations

We have a strict cancellation policy as our time and yours is precious. Please contact us as soon as you know you no longer require your scheduled appointment or part of your booked services.

We require 3 working days notice for all appointments. Some of our specialist services require a therapist / stylist for 1/2 or a whole working day and we cannot afford not to fill that time if a client cancels last minute, after hours or at the weekend when we are closed and cannot offer it to another client.

If you fail to cancel within our 3 working days we reserve the right to bill a 50% charge of all scheduled appointments, which will be taken over the phone prior to your next appointment or on your card stored via our booking system Phorest.

What if I still want part of my service?

If you wish to remove part of your services, ie, just have a cut and no colour, a leg wax but no bikini, please let us know so that we can reduce the length of your booking. Failing to do so will result in you being charged in full for the treatment you were originally booked for, but you can choose whether you have the treatment performed or not.

Booking Fee

A booking fee of £40 will be taken via telephone, in salon on all Technical appointments including Extensions, Colouring, Balayage, Lashes, Smoothing System Treatments, Colour Correction, Double Process Colour, Pamper days and Multiple treatment bookings.

A booking fee of £20 for all haircuts, blowdrys and appointments under £40

For Beauty Appointments £10 for single appointments and £40 for large / multi bookings

This booking fee will not be returned to you if you fail to cancel your appointment with less than 3 working days notice. Please Note OUR WORKING DAYS ARE TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Consultation Booking Fee

A booking fee of £20 - £25 will be taken via telephone or in salon on all consultations. When you attend your consultation this booking fee can be used towards hair products, treatments or towards a large service booking fee, it cannot be refunded!

This booking fee will not be returned to you if you fail to attend your appointment or cancel your appointment with less than 3 full working days notice. 

Working Days Are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday,

Please be mindful of this, especially when making large bookings.

Cancelling On The Day

Will result in 100% of all scheduled treatments being charged. You will be required to pay in full over the phone before booking your next one or we will take the amount in full from your card on file.

Blow Dry Membership

Our blowdry membership is billed 4 weekly and entitles you to one blowdry each week. Our weeks run from Monday - Sunday.

It is valid with selected Junior Stylists / Apprentices only.

We reserve the right to terminate membership at any time and transfer to another member of staff if and when necessary.

Membership is non-transferable and is to be used by the member only. You will be required to show your payment/subscription renewal email at checkout in the salon to confirm payment and to aid a swift checkout process.

If your payment fails your membership will be suspended with remediate affect and you will be required to make payment in full at checkout.

From time to time we run promotions by social media, email, posters in salon etc.

All offers can only be used on appointments booked after receipt or publication of offer, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, with selected stylists / therapists only, one offer per person, one offer per voucher / leaflet / email etc. Limited availability, while stocks last, no cash equivalent will be given. Where offer states all services this applies to all standard services that are less than £75 individually. Excludes specialist treatments eg, Balayage, KeraStraight, Colour Correction & Lash Extensions etc. Availability will be limited at premium times, evenings and Saturdays may be excluded without  All offers can be withdrawn at anytime without notice at managers discretion.

Prize draws, competitions and giveaways are often held to promote our brand or to support local charities and fundraising events.

The winner will be picked at random and will agree to be used in promotional posts on social media, online, local press or around the salon if required to do so.

There will be 1 winner picked for each prize, one winner per ticket, the winner must claim the prize and receive the treatment / services before the expiry date on the voucher or in the details and use it on the specific day's or date specified in the offer. The prize cannot be exchanged for money or shared with anyone and can be used only by the winner.

You must produce the gift voucher or prize details to claim your discount at time of booking and at time of service to ensure discount it given. Failure to produce the gift voucher or gift details will result in you being asked to pay in full.

£50 booking fee is required to secure your date

12 weeks Prior  50% deposit of total party cost, less the £50 booking fee

6 weeks Prior Pay the balance, paying the balance totally secures your date, time & party number.

Cancellation

Before 14 days we will retain the 50% deposit & return the balance to you, less than 14 days we retain the full amount. No money will be refunded if party number declines & additional charges will be applied if it increases. If National / International travel and accommodation we're booked, the costs will be paid for by you, if cancellation is not possible.

In the unlikely event we need to cancel and another stylist is not available, we will do our best to contact and recommend another salon or stylist to accommodate your party and refund you in full.


Returns

Regrettably, we cannot accept returns or exchange any hair or beauty retail products due to health, hygiene and product diversion restrictions. However if you have a faulty item we will assist, advise and liaise with the manufacturer if necessary.

Tell us a soon as possible! If you're unsure or unhappy about anything with your service then please let us know within 7 days. It's ok not to love it, but please let us know so we can look to put it right and most importantly we don't think you love it and do it again! We love feedback as it helps us to continue to improve and deliver extra training when needed.

Sadly we can't take responsibility if you have simply changed your mind or are unhappy with your choice of service but please tell us on your next visit so we can help you choose a more suitable service for your requirements.

We NEVER guarantee a colour can be achieved in one sitting as the majority of colour changes take more than one go to get the results you require.

Call us on 01332 292129 or email hello@coccosalon.co.uk if you'd like to speak about your service. We will ask you to come in so that we can see your hair in person and ascertain what you are unhappy with, how it may have happened and decide how to move forward and resolve your complaint.

If you refuse to come in then we cannot and will not resolve your complaint or offer a resolution as it is essential we see your hair in person.

Photos or videos will not be acceptable

Refunds will not be given on any service or treatment as hair is a natural material and results and outcomes will vary on every person and be dependent on multiple factors such as individual pigmentation, prior treatments on the hair and condition of the hair as well as home care products. We never guarantee results or number of sessions to achieve your hair goal as this is impossible!

If we find there is an issue with your service we may offer to re-do the service / treatment with the same or another member of staff.
